| so its really weird the way God speaks to me through T-Ward, but i like it. whoever He chooses to speak doesn't bother me and I know Tyler doesn't mind being the vessel. anywho - this is where my heart is:
If you dont like who you are or how you act at any point, dont try and perform a different way, get on the floor with the Holy Spirit and listen to what he has to say about you. Open up, let the invasion of love take place and watch as it changes what needs to be tampered with or strengthens what needs to stay. If we were to simply confront the actions, and neglect the deeper heart issues, we would either end up a really desensitized and fake person or live the rest of our lives running circles of shallow happiness and never knowing who we really are, and who we are destined to be.

| holy cow!! i totally love the Holy Spirit! and Jesus! and God! they are all awesome!
so i went to the nicholsons friday night for the first time since last semester and it was sooo good. God totally showed up and blessed His children for seeking Him. and it was so refreshing and refueling for me. i missed nights like that. i cannot wait for all that God has in store for me this semester. thanks for the key God. it's unlocking so much in my heart. please bless my time hanging out with Smith Station high school kids this week... i love you!! |

i really don't have much to say. i need to study, but i haven't started so i'll pretty much be up all night. call me if you wanna hang out. kim tucker is pretty much one of the coolest girls ever. we're best friends now. she's exactly like another cool girl named tiffany trotter. they need to meet. plus i want to see tiffany again. i'm listening to mewithoutyou. it's wierd, but i like it. i think its wierd that i like it. by the way, french sucks. anyway...holla at me. i'l probably be too busy studying to hang out though. |

| just got back from the AMAZING younglife leader retreat weekend thingy. the beach was sweet. i've never been in the water when the current was that strong... hurricane katrina was making the water crazy awesome. i loved it. plus, it was great to get to hang out with all the other yl leaders. i kinda wish more of my team had been there so that i could get to know them better b/c i feel really little around them, but i guess that's what the long car rides to smith station are about anyway...
on another note: ACF GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL WAS CANCELLED!!! i'm super sad. i was really looking forward to it. we don't have anyone who can ref. so we can't play. that's just sad. we had 20 girls sign up!! and i was excited b/c most of them were freshman and i wanted to hang out and get to know them better. i guess it's not what God wants me doing or else He would have made it work out, but i'm still super bummed. anyway, i need to do h/w and stuff before. i'll catch you on the flip side... |
